Objectives:<\/em> The B11 LMSSTM (Licensed Machinery Safety Specialist) is a training course dedicated to machine safety according to US legislation, regulations and standards, designed for technical figures and HSE involved in the specification, design, construction, maintenance or revamping of machinery and lines, in particular for contexts with US requirements. The course covers risk assessment and reduction measures, the definition and design of safety functions, and the integration of machines and robots, including the control of hazardous energy. The programme comprises five interactive modules of approximately 5 hours each, followed by a final online exam and certification from B11 Standards, Inc.

Target:<\/em> The technical department of manufacturers and users of machinery.
Objectives:<\/em> The training begins with classifying areas where potentially explosive substances may be present, typically provided to the manufacturer of machinery or plants. On this basis, the objective of the course is to understand the principles underlying the design of suitable components for classified areas. We will explain how the “ATEX string” is compiled in all the Equipment marked “CE ATEX”.

Target:<\/em> Technical department of machinery manufacturers.
Objectives:<\/em> The training covers the entire AT programme 1. It then outlines the methodology for conducting a proper analysis and reducing risk in a potentially explosive atmosphere.
“Electrical” protection methods, such as intrinsic safety or explosion-proof enclosures, are detailed. The risk of triggering from shocks, rubbing, or electrostatic charges is also analysed.

Target:<\/em> Electrical and mechanical technicians working for a machinery manufacturer.
Objectives<\/em>: The training provides a practical approach to designing control systems that perform safety functions in accordance with ISO 13849-1 (fourth edition, April 2023). It is aimed at machine builders who use relatively simple safety circuits with interlocks, safety barriers (AOPD), contactors, and variable-speed drives (VSDs). The path starts with the concepts of reliability and Performance Level, describes the five categories of ISO 13849-1 and the validation process, and concludes with several practical examples conducted with participants.

Target<\/em>: Electrical and mechanical technicians working for a machinery manufacturer.
Objectives:<\/em> The training proposes a practical approach to the design of control systems that perform safety functions according to ISO 13849-1 (fourth revision, April 2023) and IEC 62061 (last edition 2021), highlighting how the new edition of the latter makes the standard more usable and offers advantages over ISO 13849-1, and including an introduction to low-demand
safety systems. It is designed for machinery manufacturers with relatively simple safety circuits that use interlocks, safety barriers (AOPD), contactors, and Variable Speed Drives (VSD), interested in expanding their knowledge of IEC 62061 and understanding the basics of high- and low-demand safety systems.

Target:<\/em> Electrical and mechanical technicians working for a machinery manufacturer.
Objectives<\/em>: The program is designed for designers of any safety function, including machinery, interlocks, safety barriers (AOPD), contactors, and variable-speed drives (VSD), as well as the process industry (pressure and temperature transmitters, Low-Demand sensors). The standards covered by the course are ISO 13849-1 and IEC 62061
for High Demand applications, IEC 61508 and IEC 61511 for Low Demand applications.

(2020).
Despite following the normative language, the training is practical and includes numerous explanatory examples.

Objectives:<\/em> The training will equip participants to design and engineer an Industrial Automation Framework in accordance with the European standard EN 60204-1. Since October 2021, the 2006 edition of EN 60204-1 has no longer harmonised, and the new edition has become mandatory. We will also delve into the new editions of IEC 61439-1 and IEC 61439-2
(2020). Finally, we will discuss the grounding systems for the Neutral: TN, TT, and IT.
Both will address the issue of grounding the masses and the problem of foreign masses.
Despite adhering to the regulatory language, the training is practical and includes numerous examples to illustrate it.

\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

Objectives<\/em>: The objective of the course is the design of electrical panels on the machine, in accordance with the European electrical regulations (EN), harmonised with the Low Voltage and Machinery Directive.
The new edition of EN 60204-1 has now fully entered into force. It is therefore essential that those responsible for the design of electrical equipment for machinery align with the novelty of the new edition. The course covers the latest edition of the standard and delves into the basics of electrical safety, including protection against overloads, short circuits, and ground faults. The course runs for 28 hours, either in person or online. The formula is well tested and actively engages participants.
The training covers EN 60204-1 and the IEC standards that support it.
